Hotel Belmonte is an elegant establishment nestled in the heart of the mountains, offering luxurious relaxation amidst nature. With guest comfort in mind, Hotel Belmonte combines relaxation and top-tier service with modern technological solutions. To further streamline marketing efforts, Hotel Belmonte decided to integrate Social WiFi with Profitroom's Marketing Automation.
Challenge
Hotel Belmonte aimed to achieve the following objectives:
Expand the email contact base to conduct more effective marketing campaigns using Marketing Automation.
Accelerate the collection of positive Google reviews.
Boost sales and real-time guest engagement by promoting offers and services directly on-site through a modern communication channel.
Implementing an intuitive solution compatible with the existing Marketing Automation system was crucial.
Solution
Hotel Belmonte implemented Social WiFi, allowing guests to conveniently log into the WiFi network using their email addresses. The tool was integrated with Profitroom, enabling:
Automatic collection of contact data from guests logging into the WiFi, along with consents for marketing purposes.
Personalization of displayed messages promoting special offers and hotel services.
An increase in positive reviews on external review platforms through Social WiFi's review system. Importantly, negative reviews remained within the system's closed loop, giving Hotel Belmonte's team the opportunity to address them internally, ensuring dissatisfied guests felt heard.
Results
The implementation of Social WiFi and its integration with Profitroom significantly enhanced Hotel Belmonte's marketing effectiveness. The hotel attracted more clients through positive reviews and accelerated data growth in its existing guest communication channel.
Email Base Expansion:
Thanks to the Profitroom and Social WiFi integration, the contact base in Profitroom's CRM grew by over 4,500 verified email addresses between April and November 2024. The total reached over 17,000 from November 2022 to November 2024.
The expanded base facilitated more effective marketing campaigns, increasing guest engagement.
Online Reputation Improvement:
Through Social WiFi's automated review system, the number of positive Google reviews significantly increased, enhancing the hotel's visibility in search engines and strengthening its image. Between April and September 2024 alone, the hotel received 777 five-star reviews via Social WiFi. From November 2022 to November 2024, this number exceeded 2,500 five-star reviews. This not only improved online rankings but also contributed to a rise in direct bookings.
New Advertising Space:
The Social WiFi welcome page, displayed to every guest logging into the WiFi network, served as a platform for dedicated offers, information about the property or local attractions, and current promotions. Since May 2024, it has been viewed by over 45,000 users. From November 2022, the total views exceeded 170,000.
This modern approach not only yielded tangible business benefits but also strengthened relationships with more guests, offering them more personalized experiences. This did not go unnoticed by the hotel's marketing team:
