Social WiFi becomes TripAdvisor’s official partner

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest platform for tourism. It provides its users resources to plan their journeys, choose destinations, rate products and services while helping with business development, reaching new clients and reinforcing business image for the hospitality sector. Social WiFi has become an official partner of TripAdvisor, allowing the use of such features as Review Express.

Official partnership with TripAdvisor is a next step in the development process of Social WiFi. Research by PhoCusWright shows that more than half of travelers choose to book only after reading other guests’ reviews. Integration of these two platforms leads to a major increase in the number of reviews on TripAdvisor, which translates into more room sales, says Artur Racicki, Social WiFi CEO

TripAdvisor’s pages register 350 million unique visitors a month and hold over 290 million reviews and opinions on 5,3 million hospitality businesses. Customers using Review Express may create and send emails adjusted to the brand’s communication to encourage their guests to leave a review.

Social WiFi is an innovative tool for analytical marketing, allowing client indentification and further interaction via displaying real-time content, gathering feedback using star rating system and surveys and sending email campaigns. The star rating system enables gathering post-visit feedback in a simple and intuitive manner. In case of hotels, guests are asked 12 hours after leaving whether they enjoyed the service and thanks to the integration, receive a request to leave their opinion on TripAdvisor as well.

The reviewing itself is not all, however. The first step is gathering guest data. Social WiFi builds guest database, gathering such information as email address, gender and age. The bigger the database, the more reviews. It has a positive influence on the hotel’s image and generates sales.
