On September 28, during the inauguration of the academic year 2015/2016, Artur Racicki received a “Kozminski Lion” award from the hands of the Kozminski University’s President prof. Andzej K. Koźmiński, Ph.D. It was the 10th edition of the competition. The statuette of “Kozminski Lion” has a symbolical meaning; it’s a replica of a sculpture by Iwa Leo.
The goal of this competition is to distinguish and honor the most enterpreneurially successful alumni of the Kozminski University, whose career paths can be taken as a guiding light by the students. The criteria considered are rank, dynamics of advancement, market position and prestige of the business. Since 2012 the competition has been divided into 3 categories: Manager, Enterpreneur, Lawyer. Additionally, there is a special award for public service. Artur Racicki has been distinguished in the Start-up category for his accomplishments in managing Social WiFi and Pozytywnie.pl.
Amongst the awarded alumni are i.a. Marek Woszczyk – President of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., Juri Drabent and Maciej Bielicki – Founders of Lubię to Social Media Agency, Agnieszka Brzezińska – President of Bona-Agra Sp. z.oo. and Adam Wasiak, General Director of Lasy Państwowe. “Being awarded with a “Kozminski Lion” is a huge honor and distinction; especially by such a respectable group of specialists, academic lecturers and jury. I thank all the people that contributed to this moment and allowed me to celebrate the success of Social WiFi and Pozytywnie.pl. The “Kozminski Lion” statuette will take the place of honor on my shelf and will be reminding me that it’s worth to fight like a lion on the difficult path to success”, says Artur Racicki, the President of Social WiFi.
